Expand Consciousness
The last couple of weeks, we talked about Grounding (https://theellenlee.com/Grounding) & Earthing (https://theellenlee.com/Earthing). This week, we go in the opposite direction, up & out.
Expanding your consciousness is a technique that can help calm, center, and even clear headaches . It only takes about a minute or so depending on how long you want to stay in each step.
Here are the steps for this exercise.
1. Close your eyes and take a deep breath in & out
2. Get a sense and feel of your body
3. Now expand your consciousness to fill the size of the room you are in
4. Expand out to the size of the house or building you’re in
5. Expand again until you are the size of the city you’re in
6. Keep expanding out to the size of your state
7. Expand further to the size of your country
8. Get even bigger until you’re the size of the world
9. Now expand even bigger until you’re the size of the universe
10. Feel how expansive and freeing that feels
You’ve just expanded your consciousness! 😁
