Palming Your Eyes

Do you stare at the computer for hours at a time?
Do you watch TV or read a lot?
Do your eyes need a break?

If so, a great way to relax your eyes is to palm them.  Here are the steps to palming your eyes.

  1. Remove glasses if you have them. (You can keep contacts in, but you may want to try this without them as well.)
  2. Take the palms of your hands and cover your eyes to block out the light.  (Don’t press down on the eyes, just cover them.)
  3. You can keep your eyes closed or open. 
  4. Circle your eyes to stretch them out a bit while palming.  By circling, I mean moving your eyes up, down, and around in a circle. 

Doing this for a minute or more will help your eyes relax.  Over time, you may notice your eyesight getting better or sharper. It is possible for your eyesight to get better naturally.
