Muscle Testing

This tool helps you with decision making and trusting Divine guidance through the use of your body.

Muscle testing or kinesiology is using your body to get the answers to your questions.  The questions that work best with muscle testing are Yes/No questions.  It won’t help with Why or How questions.

When I first started out, the Sway test was the most accurate for me.  In the Sway test, you stand up.  First, you calibrate by making a statement or asking a question.  You can calibrate by saying, “Show me a yes.”  Most likely your body will lean forward.  Then, you can ask a question that you know the answer is No, such as, “Am I a koala?”  For no answers, your body should sway backwards.  If your body isn’t swaying or it’s moving left/right, drink some water and then recalibrate.  Once you’re calibrated, you can ask away with your Yes/No questions.

This can also be used in a seated position although it may be trickier.  You can do this by sitting on the edge of your seat with your spine erect.  That makes it easier to feel if you are leaning forwards or backwards.

If you have a partner handy or want to demonstrate muscle testing to an audience, you can have Person A standing up and holding his/her arm out to the side.  Person B will ask a Yes/No question and then gently press down on Person A’s wrist area.  If the arm holds strong, it is a yes.  If the arm goes weak, it is a no.  Person B only needs light pressure to push down and Person A should hold out the arm strongly.

There are several other forms of muscle testing that I go over in my Coffee with Claire episode.

Enjoy!
